A warm welcome to fellow seekers
Hi, there. I'm glad you found your way here somehow. I know traveling from one site to another, looking for answers that satisfy our big questions in this jungle known as the internet can be overwhelming. So I invite you to relax and make yourself comfortable for a bit.
Where are you? Good question! This is a place where people learn to become more of themselves and find their place in the world. That's not an easy thing: I know from experience. Over the years, I've tried all sorts of things before I manifested this space I now call Lifted Being.
The people who come here are tired of feeling small, empty, and lost. What they're looking for is meaningful work that nourishes their mind, body, and soul. For many of them, showing up as their true authentic selves and sharing their gifts with others is part of a spiritual journey. While carving their own path, these creative and sensitive folks are also working on their own healing to become whole again. That’s a brave thing they're doing, I think.
I don't have everything figured out. I'm still on my own journey of healing and self-realization. I do think, though, that I've learned a few things from my travels that might be helpful to others. In the next little while, I'll be sharing some writings on topics that range from finding your vocation, becoming more self-aware, building confidence, practicing meditation and embodiment, to embarking on a spiritual path. In my writings, I'll share some stories from my own life, along with some tips and strategies that you can try (if they resonate with you).
I also hope to teach you a bit about how to use solution-focused language to improve your relationship with people in your life. It's had—and continues to have—a big impact on my own life.
Well, I won't keep you much longer. Feel free to explore the rest of the site to learn more about Lifted Being. You're welcome to stop by any time.
Hope to talk again soon!
Thomas
P.S. If you have a brief moment, it'd be great if you could complete this short questionnaire to help me know what you’d like me to write about. Thanks!
